  • NYPD Women's Soccer
    The Women's Soccer team, established in 2003,     consists of policewomen of all ranks within the New York City Police Department who enjoy playing soccer.  Many of our players also participate with other teams across NYC and Long Island.

  • we have a soccer tournament on JUNE 25 and  26 and August 18 and 19 for breast cancer in long island.

  • SEPTEMBER 7-12 we will be in ABBOTSFORD for the annual law enforcement soccer tournament.

  •  OCTOBER 10-14 we have a police indoor national tournament in the Netherlands

NYPD Boxing

The Fighting Finest was started by Detective Carl Schroeder in 1982, along with John Carlton and Dan O'Leary. First there were the Smokers -- which are "closed" boxing matches within their own groups , and then later a team was developed. That team fought other Police and Fire Departments around the world, and went to places like Italy, Bulgaria, and Russia.
