Staten Island Project Home Front
At Staten Island Project Homefront our goal is to have an on-going Home Support Organization to support all military personnel regardless of military affiliation while they are deployed to combat areas. Staten Island Project Home Front Proudly Supports our Troops in strictly a non profit organization. Our deployed Troops need to know that their community cares and is supporting them 100%. Their families need an organization to turn to for support.
Our goal is to make this a joint project encompassing every veteran and civilian organization that will join. A project of this magnitude requires a joint organization effort. We thank every business, individual, Marine Corp League, American Legion, American Veterans, Knights of Columbus, Kiwanis and Rotary. We welcome anyone who would like to join our volunteer organization to help with the cause.
Throughout history the civilians at home have been the bulwark in preserving our cherished freedoms, safeguarding the principles of our liberty. Our moral responsibility dictates to us that we dedicate ourselves to showing our support and gratitude to the men and women in the Military who are in active/deployed duty in the service of protecting our country.
Staten Island Project Home Front Proudly Supports our Troops is an ALL VOLUNTEER organization. Absolutely, NO ONE receives salaries. All monies donated will be used to keep care package items in supply, offset the postage, and help the wounded and their families. Our goal is to support all combat deployed Troops that originate from Richmond County.
What our government cannot do we will!!! Our civic and moral duty calls us to supplement the needs of our Military.

United States Military All Stars
SAN DIEGO, CA (24 Jan 07) - For the past 17 seasons the U.S. Military All-Stars have worked hard to find the most talented military players on earth. As we watched the new hopefuls demonstrate their skills last week in Hawaii and Camp Pendleton one thing was apparent. This is a very competitive team. Since it's beginning in 1990 the program has had over 21,000 players participate. Fresh off the huge success of their historic annual "Red, White and Blue Tour of America," last summer, the U.S. Military All-Stars, like our armed forces have gone "Joint" and the reason is simple. The team will is that much better with a full representation of players from all services. More importantly, the number of talented players available for the 18th tour is expected to be down as a direct result of the Global War on Terrorism. It's ironic that the availability of skilled players will suffer on the field this summer as a direct result of the purpose of the tour which is, to in fact raise the awareness of Americans in support the brave men and women fighting overseas.
