| The Sacramento Fire Department baseball team was reorganized in 2003 for the California Police and Fire games (now the Western States Police and Fire games). We made it to the gold medal championship game at Raley field, home of the AAA Sacramento River Cats, eventually falling short winning silver. Since 2003 we have been the only Fire Department baseball team in the Police/Fire games. In 2005 we raised over $3000 with Sac PD in a charity game to help the city with a new baseball park built out of rubber for handicapped and underprivileged children to play on. In 2006 we won the Bronze Medal in the San Diego Police/Fire games. We will be competing this year in the WSPFG in Arizona in October. |  | ||||||||||||||||
