The National
Police & Fire Baseball Congress (NPFBC) is a unity of all
participating Police Department and Fire Department Baseball Teams in
the United States.
Every Day Police Departments and Fire Departments work together at emergency
incidents all over the Country and each Year Police and Fire Teams
compete against each other locally on the baseball diamond. In addition,
The NPFBC will welcome all Branches of Military teams. The NPFBC will
be the common place these departments can find information about other
Police and Fire Teams. On this page will list
future games between NPFBC members, News, highlights, Future tournaments
and much more. Members of the NPFBC will be the first to know of
information about the baseball event in the 2011 World Police
& Fire Games.
NPFBC NOTES
I
would like to thank all the teams and their representatives who have
joined the National Police & Fire Baseball Congress. We are all Law
Enforcement, Fire Fighters and Military Personnel by profession, but we
are all baseball players at heart. With 25 Teams united, the back bone
of the NPFBC has formed. I encourage all teams to supply
additional information including Charity events, Tournaments, important
games, and other information you would like to share with other NPFBC
Teams. Please encourage other Teams to join our organization so we can
continue to grow.

Diego Wins the 2007 Arizona Police & Fire Games. The Angels went 4-0
Defeating another NPFBC Team LAPD in the Gold Medal Game by the score of
10-3.

NPFBC Monthly Awards
The NPFBC would like to commend
its members for excellence on the baseball diamond and off. Each Month
Team representatives will nominate up to two players for the NPFBC
player of the month award. A player can be nominated for the award for
having a great month on the baseball field (example 4-0 1.25 era 40k's 2
BB) or an accomplishment at work (Rescue, Solved a big case, helped a
fellow Officer/Firefighter, etc) A narrative will be created honoring
the selected members memorable event or productive month . Please use
the space at the bottom of the page and tell us why your player deserves
this award.

The World Police & Fire Games are coming to New
York City August 26th to September 5th, 2011. Come join us for 10 days
of sports competitions and specially planned events spread throughout
the 5 Boroughs in the Big Apple. The New York City Fire Department, Port
Authority Police Department and New York City Police Department are
inviting you to come join us, experience our City and participate in the
most memorable World Police & Fire Games ever. The 2011 World Police
& Fire Games will respectfully coincide with the 10-year remembrance
of September 11th, 2001.
New York City, the city that never sleeps and has
something for everyone, is the setting for the world's largest
multi-sport, Olympic type event with 15-20,000 full-time firefighters
and law enforcement personnel from 70 different countries competing in
65 sports. Come see it for yourself and bring the whole family. See the
lights on Broadway, the neon signs in Times Square, Central Park, Soho,
Greenwich Village, Wall Street, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music
Hall, the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building and so much more.
Life is not a spectator sport and neither are the 2011 World Police
& Fire Games in New York City. You have to come experience it for
yourself. Whether you are a competing athlete, enthusiastic sports fan
or someone who just wants to be a part of this special event, we hope to
see you in New York City in 2011.
